ALBURY WODONGA PHOTOGRAPHER MEETS MELBOURNE MATERNITY ROAD TRIP

Some of you may know them as Albury Wodonga & Corowa locals Josh & Jenna. Some of you may know them as Josh & Jenna from Bicker Design, The Block and most recently “Design School” Teacher and Guru. I know them as two friends. Two hard working souls, who love life, good food and are caring beyond words. Really all the qualities I love in people. When I found out they were expecting their first baby, I practically forced them to have a Maternity session. Like most new mums to be, Jenna was optimistic about the whole experience and felt it really wasn’t something she was interested in doing. I assured her I would look after her and she would not regret the experience. Finally I wore her down and we set a date, at the time it felt like it was forever away but like everyone’s year…. it flew. I knew this photo shoot needed to be a moment in time, that was reflectively of them, their own style and creativity… as well as my own. I am not going to lie, I was pooping my pants a little bit – how would I create a styled shoot for them that was special and beyond anything I had captured before? Luckily the hard work was done for me when Jenna mentioned she had a special forest in mind and would I be up for a road trip? YES! I could NOT wait. It is a photographers dream to be presented with areas not accessible in their home town, and this place was definitely that.
