When we moved out to Thurgoona, I was worried. Will people still travel the whole 5 to 10 extra minutes to visit me? It very quickly become obvious how silly I was being. What is 5 minutes on a straight freeway? People get 5 extra minutes to drink their coffee, 5 extra minutes to jam to one more song. Sometimes Mums just need 5 extra minutes, before the chaos of unloading a family from the car sets upon them..I love living in Thurgoona. We are in the most amazing street, with amazingly kind hearted families. So if you are thinking of making a move, it comes highly recommended.

There is nothing I love more than a Friday, I mean who doesn’t. The weekend is upon us which means time away from the desk with our families. For me, it also means – a non photographing day to catch up on paperwork, bookkeeping, emails and blog posts. It is a time to reflect on past session and fall in love all over again.

This session was one of my faves. Sebbe arrived with the most amazing set of hair, when you view his images you will quickly understand why I fell in love. He is the most handsome little man and his parents, well they were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. I often say how lucky I am to have all of my clients. I seem to have the most fabulous people to share my studio space with. Working from home and for yourself, can be lonely at times and I really love the moments I have with each and every client in the studio. Sebbe’s Parents were exactly that, so lovely, so kind and so grateful for me capturing their little mans images.

EACH SESSION TAKES ITS OWN ROUTE

Each and every newborn session runs in its own way, no session is ever the same. Why? because no child is ever the same. Some love to be held and wrapped tight, others are free spirits and love the breeze on their fresh skin. It is important to take into consideration your babies needs and movements on the day. Noting how they like to lay, how they love to be held and work with their little bodies to the best of my ability. Every client fills out a questionnaire upon booking, with your special requests taken into consideration, each session is loosely guided to reflect your needs. The result…. something unique, special to you… and completely reflecting your babes uniqueness.
