Now! It is never too early to book your sessions, in fact we tend to book out in advance. So it is best to book Newborn sessions whilst you are still pregnant, we use your due date as your temporary booking, then when your little one greets the world all you have to do is contact Jorja to secure your permanent time.

Maternity sessions are best to take place between 30-36 weeks so book early on in your pregnancy to avoid disappointment.

Family sessions are a little more flexible, so contact us TODAY to book your session.

All Sparrow Photography packages offered are 1 hour+ bookings,

Newborn sessions tend to last anywhere between 1-4 hours, with time allowed for feeding, settling and snuggling.

For all other sessions it is best to allow anywhere between 1-2 hours, plus we don’t want to rush the fun!

Jorja is a very relaxed person she will never make you feel rushed or unimportant, every session is unique and she works with you to capture all special moments.

For Newborn sessions, it is important to bring plenty of spare nappies and formula (if bottle fed). As you will become aware, newborns make mess… this is okay. It is advised to bring along spare everything… just in case. Your session is all inclusive, this means all required blankets and props are supplied, however if you WISH to bring along sentimental items you are more than welcome, some of the best images are created with special belongings no one else has. A dummy is encouraged but not a necessity, it is purely used to help Jorja settle your baby. Maternity sessions, you can bring along a special item that you may have already purchased for your little one, ultrasound proofs or just yourself. It is completely up to you

Sparrow Photography requires full payment two days prior to your session by bank transfer. Bank details are given at time of booking, alternatively we accept cash.

You will receive a private gallery to select your favourite images within 15 workings days, turnaround time from there depends on products ordered. 

Sparrow Photography takes great pride and uses a professional eye to hand pick each image chosen for your private online viewing gallery. From there you will be able to choose your favourites for your package.

You don’t want to look back at your portraits and think WHY did we wear that?! Wear items that you will feel comfortable and confident in, you can go out and buy something new or find something hidden in your cupboard. Opt for textures, and complimenting tones. Things to avoid - branding and wording on shirts, you want to avoid looking as though you are advertising for a brand, but instead have the focus on beautiful expressions. When picking patterns, choose smaller ones that won’t distract attention away from the main subject/s. If you plan on wearing heels, be sure to bring a pair of flats that can help you get from point A to point B without any pain. You can just swap them out as you need to. Jorja works with children on a daily basis, and understands that health can be a fragile thing. If your family member suddenly feels under the weather  please always call, not email, to ensure Jorja receives notification in a timely manner. Where possible, please give at least 24 hours notice. We want beautiful, happy expressions and let’s face it, no one is feeling cute when they are unwell.
